Sounds like he'll be fine then, assuming he didn't go in debt up to his eyeballs and thought he would have a job forever.

They are owned by Renda Broadcasting out of I believe Pennsylvania
Actually, it's the other way around, I think. From the Tyler Broadcasting website, "In November 2012, Tyler Media purchased Renda Broadcasting’s Oklahoma City properties 92.5 KOMA, 104.1 KMGL and 107.7 KRXO. Tyler has since grown to include OU Flagship and Sports Talk 107.7 The Franchise OKC, 107.9 The Franchise Tulsa, 104.5 Classic Rock, V103, Throwback Hip Hop & R&B as well as 92.9 The Edge."

Back in the day I listened to WKY exclusively. Danny Williams, Dale Wehba, Ronnie Kaye and other WKY disc jockeys were the best in OKC. Every day was Danny Williams birthday.
From my days working and hanging around in the WKY studios,,,
Danny Williams was one of the hardest working people I have ever witnessed.

He married into the Gaylord family and they worked him like a dog.

I forget the name of his characters,,,
But he was Foreman Scotty's sidekick on the Circle-4 Ranch,,,
The Dracula-like host of WKY's Saturday night creature feature movie,,,
As well as being the go-to Go-Fer at the studio and a regular DJ on the radio station,

I also remember him as being a really nice guy,,,
Who like Ronnie Kay had a witch for a wife.

Aarond

P.S. Even though I did work (unpaid) for WKY after High School,,,
I always listened to KOMA in my car
