The typical firefight happens within 10 feet and is over in under 5 rounds. Why does someone really think that an extra two seconds is no big deal in a 3 yard shootout?

Mike,it has to be rehashed every couple of years. It will not die!!:D

Thankfully, on here it's not even rehashed.

Someone posts, "hey guys we should carry with a round chambered, right?"

Everyone else posts, "erm yes duh."

Original guy says, "OK I thought so just checking."

Fortunately I've moved past my young worry level about this, and I've always been pretty safe anyways, but if I were THAT worried about it, I'd just go back to a Beretta 92. Chances are pretty damn slim that you're going to knock the safety off AND pull the trigger by accident. Hard to have a misfire with no firing pin lined up. . .

Me and my buddy are arguing on whether or not you should keep a round chambered during ccw, this goes for glocks, revolvers and single action style guns.

I say keep a round chambered and ready to rock at all times. He thinks it would be just as easy to leave it empty and chamber the round before he fires.

Whats everyone's two cents on this one?

Round in the chamber..... ALWAYS!
