I already sent out a round of emails earlier today. I hate to send out more than one round a day. I would hate to be a pest. I'll use the Ruger link tomorrow.

I fax everyone daily on current media ramblings, and call every other day. I'll send emails through as many of these links as I can. I also have contributed to NRA lobby branch.

Their letter in part says:
Your focus should be on strengthening mental health care and improving the quality of data supporting NICs checks (National Instant Criminal Background Check System)

I'm not so sure that these are necessarily good things.
!. Can the federal govt improve mental health care? Is that their proper role? I suspect this better done by states rather than growing the federal government.

2. We all know that mental health data can be used to deny gun rights to our veterans suffering from PTSD.

3. Do mental health professionals really know how to tell if someone is dangerous? Seems like giving the federal govt a lot of power that they should not have.

4. Is the NIC system a good thing without any potential for abuse by an anri-2A government?
