I am simply defending myself - we were expressing opinions, it is a discussion and you came in to pull a Warren Metcalf on us. Sorry man, I feel like we have a right in this country and on this forum to express our opinion, even if it is a negative one, so long as we are civil about it. And we were. Seems a whole ton of people here think you can't express a dissenting or negative opinion without labeling the poster as a "complainer"... it's not a complaint - it's an opinion about a specific issue. It's not a rant. No one is raving. It's just a simple discussion.

And as far as Ruth's Chris...meh. But I only ate at the one in Chicago. Maybe a bad night or something. Give me a Saltgrass anytime! Unfortunately the closest one to me is in Branson.

Ruth's was my best restaurant steak experience and Saltgrass was one of my worst.
It's always who's in back and who's helping you that counts. Longhorn is also one of our favorites. It can go either way. And I can justify trying Saltgrass & Longhorn more than once. We always get the bone-in ribeye at both and will send that puppy back if it's not cooked right. Too expensive not to.
I did have a great bone in ribeye at a Longhorn in KC one time.
The Saltgrass trip was bad all around. Bad waitress, cold food, and they brought us the wrong meals. The manager comped the check but I just never wanted to try it again.
Not being familiar with the RS casino area, where exactly are you supposed to park for this restaurant?
Closest parking would be garage on north side near 81st street.
Ruth's has a poor man's special. 4-6 p.m. hamburger and fries for $9. Friend of mine said it was the best burger he's ever had.
