Was just reading an article on the LCS ships. None in use in the Middle East ,Red Sea, Etc. they can’t protect themselves from the Houthi or any one else. No defense no offense. Sounds like we have 31 sitting ducks for others target practice needlessly exposing our sailors to death.

Had a very good friend that served aboard an old destroyer in ww2. He told me that the ship was cracked so bad that in waves the crack would open and light would shine out. A jap submarine spotted them and sunk them. He was stranded on an island full of japs hunting him for quite some time until he could be rescued by a sub.

Another waste of taxpayers money; USS Zumwalt
After the current refits they have planned, they will be pretty nice ships (the new missile tubes). If they would only put SPY6 radars on them, as is they don't have a good long range radar since they didn't do the full dual band radar they had planned.
