should I require bill of sale if selling firearm?

I know by law nothing is required, but I was planning on it just for peace of mind. While looking in classifieds on here it looks like most don't require it. Anybody opinions?

Naw...I wouldn't. Trust your gut. If the deal feels wrong it probably is. With that being said, if it makes you feel more at ease go for it. I doubt it's a big deal to most people.

It isn't going to be a legal binding document. By doing one you limit your customer base because some people won't buy if it's required.

I got one on the first gun I ever sold...did it all "by the book" and what not.
Havent since and couldnt even tell you where that original one is.
