wow, do you know how much heat is generated when you discharge a battery that fast? So much for environmentally friendly. But no outlawing them. I want people to be able to pursue happiness at any cost.

Back in 1972 I had a 56 Chevy. I bought a 327ci 300hp engine and 4 speed from a stock wrecked 1972 Impala from a friend of mine's dad who had a salvage. The 72 Impala engine would have been legal to go down the strip as a stocker, but because I had it in my 56, they would not let me make a pass because I did not have an "explosion proof" bellhousing. I did not have the $ for that so I spent my time street racing. Something I would have done anyway back in those days, but I did not get any strip time. It was certainly a lot safer street racing back in those days than it would be today.
