Is it just me, maybe it sounds shallow, but is anyone else on the lookout for decent deals from people needing money now?

I think a lot of people really go overboard for Christmas purchases. You always see all kinds of contests and such after x-mas to help people pay their bills. It may be a good time to be on the lookout for some pawn shop deals. Who else notices this stuff?

I actually do have a couple listed in the classifieds, a Kimber Stainless Pro Raptor and a Kahr CW9 w/Crimson Trace. Feel free to buy one or both :-)

Speaking of getting good deals on stuff, there are often really good deals on craigslist at certain times of the month. My parents have made a couple really great scores that way, consistently on the same day or two of the month.
