I've seen more aggressive drivers in Tulsa on a regular basis than in LA and San Diego, what is the issue with drivers in Tulsa?

State Statute concieved in 2009, read #3

§47-11-309.

Whenever any roadway has been divided into two or more clearly
marked lanes for traffic, the following rules in addition to all
others consistent herewith shall apply.
1. A vehicle shall be driven as nearly as practicable entirely
within a single lane and shall not be moved from the lane until the
driver has first ascertained that the movement can be made with
safety and then given a signal, not less than the last one hundred
(100) feet traveled by the vehicle, of his intention to change lanes.
2. Upon a roadway which is divided into three lanes, a vehicle
shall not be driven in the center lane except when overtaking and
passing another vehicle where the roadway is clearly visible and such
center lane is clear of traffic within a safe distance, or in
preparation for a left turn or where such center lane is at the time
allocated exclusively to traffic moving in the direction the vehicle
is proceeding and is signposted to give notice of such allocation.
3. Upon a roadway which is divided into four or more lanes, a
vehicle proceeding at less than the maximum posted speed, except when
reduced speed is necessary for safe operation, shall not impede the
normal flow of traffic by driving in the left lane. Such vehicle
shall be driven in the right-hand lane except when overtaking and
passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction or when
preparing for a left turn at an intersection or into a private road
or driveway.
4. Official signs may be erected directing slow-moving traffic
to use a designated lane or designating those lanes to be used by
traffic moving in a particular direction regardless of the center of
the roadway and drivers of vehicles shall obey the directions of
every such sign.

goes to show all you tailgaters ... when someone plainly doesn't want you on their ass... back off.

I had a guy 10' from my bumper on the way home from work the other day. His vehicle was a junker, and I'm thinking he must be a nascar wannabe. Thought he was gonna draft me to save fuel or some stupid thing.
No other traffic on the road, and he could have passed at any time.
I did a brake check on him, knowing he probably didn't have insurance, and got a one finger salute from him.
Kinda funny, but did keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't do something stupid.
Got on the four lane and he went around me, and went on.
I'm thinking the violent road rage thing, is more prevelant in the cities. I know I have to leave my weapons at home when going to the big city. I don't know how you all do it day in and day out. I'd go postal.

Darn, I was hoping to read a tailgater had been shot (by an obviously very bad person, with poor morals, and a lousy childhood, who should have shown infinite restraint to the jerk riding their bumper).

To all internet commando tailgater's, if I'm going the speed limit in the rightmost lane, you don't get to have an opinion on how fast I should be driving. When you start paying for my gas, insurance, and speeding tickets, then we might talk about it. Until then, I'll generally drive the speed limit and you get to live with it.

Did anyone else catch the part where it said it was 1:48 am when it happened? This wasn't some traffic laden street and some guy was being an @ss by following too close, causing road rage. This was more likely some kind of gang related fight.

tailgating is against the law ... worst yet tailgaters cause many wrecks ... I see it all the time.

some ******* tailgater has to slam on his brakes from following too close ... the person behind him has no clue someone is going to slam on his brakes going 60mph through a sweeping turn.

this starts a chain reaction causing the car behind to slam into the car directly in front.
meanwhile the ******* tailgater that started this entire mess is 1/2 mile up the road.

this why I cannot stand self righteous ******* tailgaters!!

How will I know difference between "plainly" wanting me off their ass and just wishing that I'd get off of their ass?
