Have any of you guys been to that area? There are some cabins down there on the water. Considering renting one for a few nights. I'll be fishing for catfish.

If your staying at Cumberland Cover Resort, it's shabby. Bridge View Resort, which is west of Cumberland Resort is nice.
I'm not sure if you can access lake texoma from Cumberland cove anymore, it's silted in last I heard. Bridgeview is open water tho.

In order to look over the RV park there we drove the motorhome through that part of the area where people are permanent residents. (Yes I heard the banjos).
My Dad went to Cumberland school back in the 1920s along with the Gary brothers.

My wife grandpa lives in little city by the church, she grew up there. Used to be real cheap land, but people have been buying it up. The new owner of Bridgeview is Paul Ryans father in law.
