Red River Firearms in Sherman sponsors a little practice match on Thursday nights. Sorta follows IDPA rules, each shooter gets to set up a stage, then the others shoot it.
I've been to it three or four times, Thursday was the first time I felt good about my shooting. Using my new LC9s, I actually had a few stages with zero point deductions. Still slower than everyone else, but at least I'm hitting the targets now! I shot two stages with my Shield .45, but did better with the Ruger. I'm really liking this little gun.
