come on, both sides do this. And, frankly, some people are just stupid

The left is worse, always have been, and generally, they feed off emotion. We just had 8 years of literally any disagreement with Obama over the years and you were racist. The same still holds true now, only problem is that they don't have any non-whites or females front and center.

if that is what you choose to believe, i can't stop you. But i wasn't arguing a side. Just pointing out that it's not just a tactic of the left and that some people actually are stupid.

The only thing I'll predict about the election is that it is far to early to predict anything. The Clinton camp thought they had it in the bag and look how that turned out. Going in cocky didn't work out for them. Might not work out for Trump either.

Don't forget he barely won states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, and Minnesota. Some by very, very small margins.

A lot will depend on how/if the economy rebounds and how the swing states are looking. Heck, we might even see some new swing states.

The difference it makes is that some of his previous "supporters" are sick of him and will just not go to the polls to vote for him this time.

So they vote for the other candidate or not at all? That makes a hell of a lot of sense, then they are no different than the never Trumpers or RINOs that everyone complains about....hate the man despite his policies, accomplishments, wanting to make America first in every way possible? America has become so dang soft and critical. Not voting shouldn't even be an option imo if you're a registered voter, choose the best one and vote.

I think many of them will just not vote which is a real problem in some of the close race states. Some may even vote for the other candidate. Either way, it's not good for the country.

some are those, but not all. But I'm not sure those lockdowns are opposed by many of the citizens. Surveys show that the huge majority of people in those states are afraid of opening too early.
Because that's how they've been programed all these years, they keep voting the same idiots with different names but the same ideas election after election. Let them sit in their dirty diapers as long as they want if they're not change it.

Presidential election voter turnout in '16 was 55%. Voter turnout hasn't risen above 60% since 1968, and even before that it even dipped into the 40% range. The highest it has ever been since WWII is 62.8%. You have to go all the way back to 1900 to find a 70% voter turnout.

So when you say "America has become so dang soft and critical", when exactly did that happen?

How so? You seemed to equate voter turnout to being soft. I just showed you voter turnout has never been high.

Voter turnout in 2016 was lower than 2008 when Obama was elected. So why only in the last three years?
