Said it in the other thread, everyone needs to go watch the listening session for yourself. Lot's of good points made by the adults in the room, bunch emotional blah from some of the kids in the room.
These kids are just that kids. I hate what them and their families and friends are going through but shouldn’t decide what’s good for the rest of us
There are a multitude of reasons that there is a minimum age to vote, and one of those is that the younger you are the more likely you are to make decisions based on emotion.
And, a lack of life experience / common sense. Many years ago I was a 17 year old know it all. It's amazing how my perspective has changed over then years.
