I checked my camera today for the first time today. 7 does and a spotted fawn. One velvet buck that only has a rack on one side. Yearling.

I cleared a few stands and put out cameras yesterday. Saw a ton of hog sign. I'm very glad I got my ccl this year as some of the tracks were as big as my palm.

From personal experience, be very careful going after a big hog with a pee shooter.

Seriously, about 20 years ago, my brother and I had a 200+ lb boar chase us up a creek bank after we shot him 9 times with 357 mag Ruger Blackhawks., but I have killed hogs with 9mm and 45 acp handguns.

Absolutely. I'm not looking to pick a fight with a pig, especially with a glock 26. I will be purchasing bonded solid point rounds for when I'm bow hunting though instead of my self-defense rounds.

When I'm in stand, hogs will be like coyotes: they'll never get a free pass unless a giant buck is coming in.

I killed this one with my Glock 43 using 124 gr Gold Dots to her head. Notice I said Gold Dot(s).
