Double post
I had a great time at H&H last Sunday. Went with my son-in-law to shoot his .357. I've never shot a handgun before. We also rented a 9mm and an AK47. I think it was the best $100 I ever spent, certainly the most fun I've had for the money.
The rental counter crew was humping 'cause it was busy, but very business like and thorough, polite too.
After shooting we went to the back counter, (I guess he's the gunsmith?) because the barrel shroud on the Dan Wesson worked loose during shooting. The gunsmith said he would have tightened the nut for us if he had a wrench to fit it, but no dice. Nice guy.
Then we went window shopping and had two sales guys ask if we needed assistance.
It was a great visit all around. I know nothing about their pricing, but because of this visit there will be five of us going shooting and renting guns next month.

There certainly aren't enough ranges or gunshops around. And that's because the profit margin is so low and then on top of that they have to compete with the big box stores. And when one crops up like H&H and they add a bit a margin so they can have good inventory, a nice facility, etc. everyone gripes! In truth, I bet people spend $30 more in gas driving around looking, FFL fees and shipping when they buy online after window shopping there, when they could have walked out with the gun they wanted for the same or less money if the truth were told.Supply and Demand fellas. There are not enough gun shops and gun ranges for the demand we have here in OK. Until supply catches up with demand plan in crappy service and being pissed off when you leave the gun shop. As far as H&H is concerned. I shoot their monthly IPSC match with Shannon and a few of the other guys that work there. Plus I have taken Wills gun classes and bought a bunch of stuff from Clay so they all know me by name. I never get poor service from anyone. If you get to know them their all good folks. You know how many looky lues they get in their everyday that don't buy anything ever? It's a lot! They can't determine who is really gonna buy something and who is gonna waste their time trying every color desert eagle with no intention of buying.
