What do you use to "spike" your Eggnog?

I love eggnog season! My mother use to spank me at least once a holiday for drinking all the eggnog. One of my holiday breakfast treats is Eggnog Pancakes. Its simple, you just use eggnog instead of milk and add cinnamon and nutmeg to your batter. But I digress...

When making my adult version of eggnog, I have always added just a little liquor. Not enough to qualify as a drink, but just enough to add some flavor. I go back and forth between adding Bourbon or Spiced Rum...

What do you add?

Spiced rum in copious amounts.

I use Pyrat Rum. It has just a hint of vanilla and is really smooth.

No doubt. Frothy, eggy dairy mixture and liquor? Yeah, that's a good recipe for me praying for the sweet release of death on a cold tile floor.

I only have one with eggnog, the next few are without it.
