I watched a doe do this move one time from my stand. Every time her fawn would try to nurse she would drop down and give him two to the side. Sometimes she would start biting him and striking him with her front feet. A few minutes later a buck showed up and that's when I figured she was just trying wean him and run him off for a few days. While her and bucky boyfriend had a little alone time.
