Living in the urban jungle perhaps the things that I would miss most would be refrigeration/freezer use for foods and the convenience of running water (warm for bathing and cold for drinking and flushing toilet).

Yup. One of my very favorite movies. It's probably the movie that first got me interested in knives. In the credits of First Blood it lists Jimmy Lile of Arkansas as the maker of Rambo's knife. Back then (1982) they sold for $365.

I mentioned it to my folks, and of course, they looked at like I was nuts. Today, you can buy one for the low, low price of $1,995.
