I like those Grand Seiko's. But I'm curious as to what makes them "Grand" ?

I’m sure they’ll both be along very soon to explain…but, if you’ve never put hands on a GS, the build quality is on another level. I’m not kidding when I say the cases and bracelets are as well made as a Breguet or Audemars

I did some homework on that myself awhile back. Their movements are insanely accurate and zaratsu polishing.
Sinn 556 I RS
Somebody recently infected the Forum with 308 threads and now I'm looking at AR-10s and bolt action rifles with lustful intent. I'm thinking I need one of each.
Next time I’m in the city let’s go to Deja Vu.
Still not 100% decided if I want the 556 or the tegimented case 856. For the price of the 856, you could almost have a Longines Zulu Time.
Either way, I want to add a pilot watch from Sinn or Longines at some point in the future. Longines should be releasing a 39mm Zulu Time in the next few weeks. I think Sinn fits my preference for the vintage, unassuming tool watch look better.
