To join USPSA, its $25 for an associate membership, and I think its $40 for a full. The difference is a sticker and a magazine.
I'd bring 100 rounds minimum. Most qualifiers aren't high round count.
The match fee is $4 per stage and you would need to shoot a minimum of 5 to get a ranking.

We are having a USPSA Qualifier match this saturday. If your a member, or want to be a member, now is the time to shoot 6 stages of qualifiers to get your ranking in USPSA.
Normally each club match that is a member will have one qualifier stage which is a stage set in stone as far as design. It takes 5 or 6 qualifiers (I don't remember any more) to get your ranking, so just shooting club matches once a month, it will take that many matches to get your rank, OR come the classifier match and get ranked in one day. $4 per stage.

If you can tell me what pistol you will be shooting, I can tell you what division you will be shooting in.

Dennis I'm in man if you don't mind taking a competition noob under your wing

You don't want to spend too much time under his wing...

You'll have a blast, but as a warning, once you shoot a USPSA match you'll never find satisfaction in shooting static again.

True dat ...*sigh* I have come to the conclusion that just because I can't shoot anymore doesn't mean I shouldn't come out and see you guys  ... I really need to get over it, bake some cookies or something, haul GC out there and get some hugs off you guys ... :wink2:
