At least he isn't like the 11 year old that kicked me in the mouth at work last week. He punched his mom in the back of the head because she pissed him off. I got there, he bucked up, I body slammed him and put him in cuffs. He was in possession of a knife and cigarettes. He kicked me when we were trying to hobble his legs. He also spit on my patrol car. I ever so kindly wiped the spit off using HIM and put him in the car and transported him to a Behavioral Health facility in Tulsa.....

Sounds like another fun day at the office!

thank you all for the input it helps me to understand i am lucky to have such a good boy we spend alot time together not as much as i would like though. fishing, hunting, playing ball he likes to play video games but he would rather do something outside if you will take him witch i do alot because i hate when kids just play video games all the time.its just drives me nuts that he is so lazy and its not just the pop cans it everything in his life he loves sports and is very good but only because he is talented not because he works at it,but bottom line i am going to stop gripping at him so much about it and try to focus on the good things and maybe in time the lazy part will take care of itself i sure hope so again thanks to all for input it sure helps to here advice from other people

To the guy forcing the states and capitals on your niece, is this a school project? Why is it so important? I could probably label the vast majority of states but as far as capitals....I doubt it.

I could...why?...It was required when I was in 5th grade. Knowledge is never a bad thing. Mrs. McCormick was a crabby old hag, but by God she taught me the States!! I scored a 100 back then.

For every soda can....take away something he likes (CD, video game.....), sounds like a pretty good kid but just needs a little BITA (boot in the a$$) sometimes.
