I'm slowly starting to see this show as a soap opera instead of a really cool science fiction tv show.

Come on, last night with Daryll's injury with his arrow and then shooting a squirrel with it, then eating it??!!Dang, I'd at least run the arrow through a camp fire to somewhat sterilize it.

Speaking of sterile...is the disease a virus, bacteria, parasitic?? It must be a bloodborne pathogen....bite from a zombie. If so, then bqck to Daryll....injected/infected by his arrow? Then killing the squirrel and eating it raw...not cooked...to kill questioned pathogen. Maybe the air contains an element that kills it upon contact? It must be neurovirulent...because of it's effect on the brain. As pointed out by the CDC doctor. Simple rinse in the water or even soap amd water...might not cut it. Heat the knives, axes, and other sharp items used to kill zombies.

I just wish they would get on with a serious, end of the world, how are we going to survive element.
More of whats good for the group instead of feel good everybodys okay mentality.

More action, less soap opera.

Get off my lawn.
He shot the squirrel while on the horse. He then fell from the horse and stabbed himself later. Then he pulled it out to shoot a zombie in the head. I hope you DVR'd it so you can watch it again to get it straightened out.

I'm not expecting a prime time TV fiction program to go into any great depth in regards to sterilization of tools....anymore than I expect to see them reloading weapons or go into depth on food gathering/preparing. It's just something I have to put in the back of my mind when watching something meant to entertain a large audience.

It is a soap opera...and at the core, most TV shows are aren't they? At last this one has zombies, guns, girls, cops, rednecks, and a compelling story line.

Did anyone else notice that when that dumbass shot Daryl in the head, as he was getting up one of the ears he had strung around his neck was in his mouth? Maybe we have a zombro on the way?

It's a well known fact that it zombieism can only transferred via saliva. Since zombies are dead, the heart isnt pumping, and the blood is inert. No 02, virus, etc. Otherwise vampires would turn if they ever had to suck a zombie dry.
