In fact, it was just announced that Colt Mccoy will be traded off, which means B-dub will be starting next season. They need a good WR to round out the offensive game with BW and Trent Richardson.
Didn't say anything about being a running QB, I said you need to be able to throw on the run or run period. Tanehill, Luck, RG3, Brees, Rodgers, Brady, both Mannings..... can throw on the run and scramble for 3-4yds if need be. Weeden on the other hand is a statue, which sucks unless you're the size of Big Ben. Take away Blackmon and we wouldn't even be here talking about it.
You could not possibly be more wrong. Weeden has professional sports experience, he will start next year.
I couldn't agree less. Really, Tannehill over Weeden? Come on you just sound foolish. You act like Weeden has two busted knees or something. He can throw on the run out of the pocket if need be. His main asset is a quick release and high football IQ to read defenses. Payton Manning hasn't had a long career because he could run out of trouble, he gets rid of the ball quickly and reads the defense to find the weak spots. No need to run for your life when you get rid of the ball to an open receiver within 2 seconds.
You could not possibly be more wrong. Weeden has professional sports experience, he will start next year.
Lol. Haven't you guys ever wondered why he fell back on football? It's because he couldnt hack it in baseball. Minor League Baseball experience is no where near the level of NFL. He never even made it to the big leagues, his whole career was spent in the minors and never made it above A ball. If you correlate his minor league baseball experience with pro football he will throw a ton of picks and incomplete passes. He will start because it's cleveland and they suck. Unlike other old man redemption qb's he doesn't have good blocking or anyone to throw to. His arm is going to get tired but not from throwing the ball, it's going to be tired from him handing the ball off to trent richardson or trying to keep tacklers off him.
Actually it was a shoulder injury that caused him to decide to leave baseball. I figured the gooners on here would start blasting him. Oh, by the way, where did your boy wonder Broyles land? Oh yeah, deep in the 2nd.... Gooners gotta be be goons....
