It's not in my mind, in the media they are one in the same in perception, or to people that don't know any better. If you look at the number of incidents, they are extremely small relative to numbers, relative to reported numbers of ownership. JUST LIKE incidents with Black rifles. Yet people fear them the most. Healthy respect is one thing..... irrational fear is another. Just because a dog walks down the street, people fear them? I will also say there is no random attack, there is reason, the human is usually unaware of it or probably doesn't understand it, but there's a reason.
That's a broad statement, like there's a reason someone's cancer was cured without treatment or there's a reason that bird landed on that branch at exactly that point in time.
