That's the first time I've heard that direct comparison... do you think the CCP is really that good of a gun? To compare it to P7?

The P7 is the better gun no doubt!! I was just making reference to the CCP's operation, and take down. The P7 is larger, and heavier than the CCP, they hold the same number of rounds, accuracy is better with the P7 but not by much, and if your talking about tactical/practical accuracy its not enough to write home about. As to the take down, it is similar, but much easier with the P7. As to the retarded gas locking action both guns are identical in this function. Of course the CCP doesn't have the squeeze grip.

...and the CCP doesn't have the history or the cool factor of the P7. Now having said that, I gladly give way to ldp4570 in regard to most things Walther. The man knows his Walther guns, that's for sure. I just wish I had another nice PPK or PPK/S in .32ACP or even another one in .380ACP to fondle, admire, shoot, and even carry, like one of the beauties he has.

druryj, Don't forget the Mauser hsc. They are some classy little pocket guns, an the Saur 38H too. I also like the Mauser 1910 an 1914 in .25ACP an .32ACP. Last but not least is the Browning 1910 and Beretta 1935, model 70s, and 71!

P.S. I just bought my daughter a Mauser hsc in .380 for her birthday. Its her first centerfire pistol. She already has two Ruger .22lr's a SR22P, and MKII.

Nice choices, and what about the FEG 63? That's a cool looking little gun too. Marschal grips has them on their website in their gallery. I believe they're a PPK clone.

They are good little guns as long as you don't get them in 9MM Makarov. The round is a little to much for the gun since its got an alloy frame instead of steel like the PP series. The .32acp an .380acp versions of this pistol are really good pistols, and if you can't afford the Walther, these would make a good choice.

I'd like to find a blued FEG 63 in good condition in .32ACP just because. I'd stick a set of the red walnut Marschal grips on it and be profilin' like it was Saturday night!

Dang, that PPK with its new walnut grips is one cool looking gun. Does it shoot well? What ammo do you carry in it for CCW? Does it make you feel like you're Bond; James Bond, or maybe ... Secret Agent Man? How many mags do you have for it? Does the safety lever sometimes fall down to "safe" when you shoot it? (A fairly common problem, from what I've read). Has the gun been molested or is it, to your knowledge, stock? Do you like it? Is it for sale or trade?

Thanks for the pics!
