I don't think they are looking at 6.8 SPC for this, more like the Textron telescoped rounds. They want 60-80 thousand PSI pushing bullets for the weapon.

I've got enough bullets and powder to last my lifetime.Ah, the legendary "caseless" ammo...
If these go over, they will become the eventual death of reloading. Which may actually be one of the goals. :/
It not caseless and polymer cases my prove cheaper than reloading brass.Ah, the legendary "caseless" ammo...

Perhaps I should have said "brassless" then ... but IIRC, they were called "caseless" when the idea first appeared a while back. But maybe not.It not caseless and polymer cases my prove cheaper than reloading brass.
Caseless is when there is nothing to eject. The "Case" is burned up with the powder. The telescoping cases, eject from the rifle just like a brass case.Perhaps I should have said "brassless" then ... but IIRC, they were called "caseless" when the idea first appeared a while back. But maybe not.
I wonder how it holds the bullet in place when chambering, and whether that support system would be reusable?
