South of Dallas got slammed with ice today. I know there was a huge wreck in Ft Worth. I just made a delivery in Temple. I left Lewisville at 3pm. I got to Temple at 1145pm. 8h45m to go 152 miles!. I35 was just a total mess!

I wish lol
I go to the liquor store on Morgan and SE 15th. Prices are really good
Prices suck in Ok.
I like Windsor Canadian for an occasional drink with sprite zero and a lemon to prevent scurvy.
In Ok that 1.75 liter bottle in Ponca City costs $23 after tax. In Missouri, Ks, Tx, NM and Colorado its around $13.99 plus tax which is lower than OK.
OK loves their "sin taxes".

I don't agree that Jameson is better, but I've never believed that any blended whiskey is better than single malt. Bushmills is good, black Bush is better. I prefer Red Bush myself.

I'll have to try the red.
A fun story about Black Bush. When in Branson we went to an Irish bar for snacks and drinks at the Landing. The waitress was a young black woman, evidently fresh on the job.
She asked my wife what she wanted to drink, wrote down her order, and turned to me. Looking her square in the eye, said I wanted some black bush.
The look I got back from her was priceless. She didn't know what to say, so after a pregnant moment, I never said a word but pointed at a sign on the wall that was advertizing Black Bush as the special of the week.
She caught on and we got a great laugh about it.

National weather service is forecasting an amassed cumulative snowfall amount of 6-8 inches here in SWOK. TOTAL OVER FOUR DAYS. I still think they're estimating high. Last time we were forecasted 4-6 and got trace amounts.

Looks like we've got a OKC vs Tulsa weatherman war . . .

You can kind of understand why they push out wildly speculative forecasts... The local news only hold on a a community is the weather. As younger generations don't tune in to hear reports of news they've already read online, the weather is the only round in their chamber, and they milk it for all the ad revenue they can.

You guys keep talking about it and I will have to break down a buy myself a small bottle of bourbon. And I have not drank in years. I do admit to occasionally wanting a nice glass and a good cigar but my doc and wife would have fits if I did. I swear if I ever get told I only have a short time to live, I am going out with a good meal, a nice drink and a good cigar in me.

I'm the first spot on the Blanton's list at the local place. Just waiting on that phone call. that and a white label cigar would be a good evening around a fire.
