Thanks everyone. I'm thinking that I'll put my G34 in the classifieds, use the proceeds to buy them a nice new electric mower (which I think would be better for them since there is nearly zero maintenance needed), and then I might take the Honda to see if I can fix it. It might be nice to have a second mower, or perhaps @Oklahomabassin or another OSA'er would like to get it and take care of the carb issue. I think you all are right though, and it is probably a pretty simple fix. I am seeing this as just an opportunity remove any future mower headaches for my mother and step father. They aren't getting any younger, and every little thing helps I suppose.
