40 odd year ago I got a Jack Guess pocket knife. Jack was a machinist at American Airlines in Tulsa, and made great knives on the side! I used a knife back then a lot, and would just do what ever needed doing with what ever knife I was caring. After a couple of years of this rough use, it blade was in bad shape. My teenage son told me one day, I wish you wouldn't do that kind of stuff with that neat pocket knife. I want that when you die, and you are going to have it warn out! I got a cheaper knife, and sent this one back to Jack, and he cleaned it up, and installled a new blade, I put it up in my gun safe, and it will look like a new one when my son gets it!I don't think I've ever owned one. My current carry knife is a Kershaw Ken Onion Chive --- very smooth action, and very sharp.
