First: many, many people should never own a home. No one ever taught them to take care of anything. It will quickly deteriorate and fall apart.
Next: Did anybody see the tv show, I think on PBS that supposedly no one will privately own their own home by 2050?
All housing will be by Gov't or mega corporations. Don't remember which.
that's part of my argument. everyone is like "oh it's fine this system is corrupt" until BILLIONAIRES pool their money and BUY ALL AVAILABLE PROPERTY.

especially when a number of those billionaires aren't even american.

or they pool their resources, buy all politicians, and they submit legislation to these ends. and what's sad is, people would GLADLY vote for that over the !*$!show we have now because at least it would get back at those who believe they are "on top" LOL

nah he's reasonable. no one wants a lawsuit for refusing repairs.

you have, nor have ever, known what life is like for the majority of the population.

Not sure how you figure that Joey but hey...I always know when I get to you.... you kind of short circuit and start babbling incoherently.

FWIW, there's a bunch of down to earth people in this thread, a few land owners as well. I think most understand your disassociation from reality.

congrats! i won't ask about your familial history or how you feel about fractional reserve central banking.

Bought a Harley Davidson at 18. That got my credit score up enough to get approved for a home loan at my bank in 2 years. Lived in it a few years and got with a woman that makes more money than me so sold it and we married and bought another house a few years later. Haha. (Sold the first one though)

Hope you got your problem solved with your landlord. That Dude sounds like a douche.

looooool holy cow it's like literally poetry.
you ruined a nation and you don't even see it. "just do what we all did, it'll be great when you make it even worse for the next generation. when your kids "choose" to be homeless it'll be their fault"

hell i was just putting a feeler out there; i didn't expect an immediate real response on the subject. that's incredible. how many others?
Yes dear I get it ... It's ALL my fault. Lol

Takes more effort to live off the system than just go get a JOB!
Takes more effort to deal with bosses that hire friends that do not know squat and
about get people killed in the construction trade.
That is the work I did for companies for many years.

I am so fed up with idiots in the work force .

I have worked and made money since I was strong enough to push a lawn mower.
I have worked at many jobs with a boss.
FAA for 10 years for a company that was called 4 winds.

Lots of hours and I made good money on overtime.
I saved that money while living cheap and invested it in houses.

2 years ago was my last purchase of 10K house.

Kind of the fault of the OP for not renewing his contract and letting it go.
You live and you learn.

I suppose if you do get to stay there you can turn off the water at the street when you are not using it.

Save on that water bill.

And the owning of houses.. that is an income I want as I will retire one day and I do not trust the Gov. to pay me a red cent when I am eligible to collect it.

To me that is like counting your chickens before they hatch.
I will have a means of income without any help from the gov.

I just do not trust them at all.
