I'm beat. Headaches and tearing the entire house apart just so I can clean and put it all back seems like a strange thing to be doing when your back and head hurt but here I am ... Lol

Dawg is gonna keep me up all night ... Lovely

Ordered some more shelves for the spare room ... And my sewing room. Grumpy is gonna put them together for me in the morning after I let him take me to breakfast.

VA appt went well, got a shot for my sinus infection and some follow up visits are upcoming...time there was less than a lot of regular dr visits I've had, and it went OK, just some tough questions to answer...I have a feeling the visits might get more uncomfortable sooner vs later, but maybe thats what it takes...

if you went to the OKC Vet hospital for your appointment, I have nothing but good to say about that facility.
We read about a lot of negative comments regarding veterans health care in the news negatively, but that facility is not one of them IMHO and for the record, 99% of my health care is through that facility.

We read about a lot of negative comments regarding veterans health care in the news negatively, but that facility is not one of them IMHO and for the record, 99% of my health care is through that facility.

I actually went to the small clinic in Clinton. My wife's cousin that moved here a few months ago said its a huge difference in it vs the one he used in MN...up there he was a #, here he has a name!

Yes, I have a small clinic in Blackwell for close to home but for other issues, the Hospital in OKC is the go to place.
There is a program called Community care where vets can get care in local medical centers if they are XX number of miles away from a VA facility. (I don't remember the number of miles)
The program can offer reimbursement for prescriptions obtained from Community Care approved pharmacies and other features, but I'm not the biggest fan of that program. It can take a lot of time to get the paperwork through the VA for it to happen and the office in OKC isn't very responsive. They eventually get it right, but man, they are slow.
Once you get approved though, it works great. The physician and the clinic have to be on the approved list. Once the referral is approved, your in.
