I've seen very close to online prices on a number of things from Outdoor America and occasionally H&H. They're especially good on pistols. Most places charge $30-40 for shipping and another $10-20 for transfer. Might as well support the local businesses.

That's how I felt looking around online last night. After shipping and a transfer fee from the store (one local store charged $35), pay a few extra bucks and get instant gratification.

However, it may depend on the gun. I found some Glock 21Cs significantly cheaper online than at H&H. There it might be worth it. But for the 26, not so much.

I spent many thousands of dollars over many many years at H&H before my place of employment closed the doors. When I tried to get a part time job at H&H to earn a little extra spending money to help out with my retirement income nothing ever came of it. Filled out the job application, used about 1/2 of the longtime employees at that time as references and gave a very good firearms resume. Never a call back, no interview, nada, squat. That finsihed any dealings I will ever have with H&H.

If they can take my money during the good times but can't work with me during the bad times.........screw 'em.

Wow. They may not realize that they owe all of their customers jobs during the bad times. Maybe you should do a better job of letting them know about your entitlements.

Hey bubba,

Wow!!!! I didn't mention one damn thing about being entitled to anything.

I'll try to explain what I said in my earlier post using small words so a ketboard warrior such as yourself may possibly understand my position.

I spent over $50,000.00 dollars over a 20 year period with H&H. I was an extremely loyal customer and referred many of my friends and other new customers to H&H, who purchased firearms and services from H&H.

I have never ask for any type of entitlement form anyone my entire life and I did not ask for any type of entitlement or handout from H&H. All I asked for was an honest job to work part time in a retail firearms setting.

I would have thought by my long term business and personal relationships built up over the 20 year period would have been permitted me the courtesy of a least an interview.

You sound as you are young of age and do not understand the concept of loyality and long term business relationships.

I hope this is stated simple enough so that you may understand my exact position.

Also by your response I would like to ask if you get all your exercise by jumping to conclusions and making an ass out of yourself?
