Just checked locally here. Atwoods and TSC both have 40# for $8.99. .22475/lb. Feed store by our property it's 50#/$10. .20/lb. Even if buying 1000 lbs, it's only a $24.75 difference($224.75 vs $200). I save 8.5% or thereabouts on top of the price difference due to not taxing from the feed store(approx $17 on 1000 lbs).

I just bought 300 bushels for $6 per bushel. One bushel is supposed to be 56 pounds so just over $5 per 50 pound sack equivalent. My farmer friend is located in Calvin and will sell to others and can provide super sacks that hold one ton for $30 each. Message me if you are interested.

Also corn was pretty clean, didn’t see any cobs

Dang it boy! That’s a good deal, and I would even bring my own super sacks.

I’d like to know more about this deal, because it would be well worth my drive.

Bought some sacked corn at the co-op Saturday, they’re down to $20/100 now. Before I went on vacation they were over $22/100.

Guy working the dock said someone undercut them on a truck load of actual deer corn, he said the co-op had a lot of hunters coming in and were mad about it so they lowered the price on the regular corn.
