Are there twinkies inside?
If so, I might be tempted to rush in and try to get them and take out the bad guy if he gets in my way.
Then again... Bigfoot likes twinkies (or so I've been told) so I might just give a few howls towards the woods and crack a window so he can get a sniff. Everyone knows that Bigfoot can't be caught (or shot) so I'd let HIM rush in to get the twinkies and stomp the guts out of the bad guy and I'd be the hero (yeah!). Wait... I wouldn't get any twinkies though would I?
OK nevermind, I'd clear the streets of all life forms and post myself (armed) until the police arrived.

As long as there is nobody else in the house except the bad guy, I'd stay outside and make sure he didn't get away until the cavalry arrives.
If there was family in the house, I don't think I could hold myself back from going in and putting some holes in somebody. It'd be tricky. Our house is small and doesn't have too many places to hide.

My house? Block the doors and burn the SOB down. I'd kind of like to start over.
OK first I would grab my select fire ar-15 and my g22 (g22= glock foty)put on my bullet proof vest (I have 27 of them) then I would kick the door in (might take 4 or 5 kicks). After I kicked in my own door I would clear the house. If the bad guy was still there I would let him crawl out the window.
