I'm not telling you not to wear a mask, that's YOUR decision based on your risk assessment. Whatever reason you employ is fine, more power to you. It's when you started talking about legislation making others do so, is when I replied.
Exactly. Government has no place to tell me I must do something to protect myself or others. People like to bring up the seatbelt law. Now for kids who can't fully comprehend the added safety a seatbelt offers, yes. But if a full grown adult wants to be an idiot and not wear their seatbelt, thats on them. I wear mine simply because I know they increase the chance of survival in a car crash, and after being in a head on collision in highschool, I agree with that.
But, its not my place to protect someone else. I'm not required to carry a gun to protect others ( I would if needed), so the government should not be allowed to force me into wearing something, force me to stay home unless I have a "valid" reason to be outside, or close businesses down simply to protect people.
Every day, more and more people are starting to understand this situation. People are waking up.
We have to end this national stupidity right now.
And I have an idea you and I aren't even talking about the same thing at all. But that's ok, I'm sure you are smarter than me, and everyone else out there.

The problem is not the government telling folks to stay home. It’s folks actually doing it. The government literally owns us. And this pandemic is proof of it. It’s sickening. This is yet another reason why the government will disarm us. They know the American people ain’t gonna do a dang thing.
