I have read that it will work as long as your load is subsonic. What do you NFA pro's think? I was thinking about buying a whisper but the wait time on the can is going to be killer and I already have a trident 9. I read somewhere that osprey even raes their 9mm can as 300 blk rated on full auto.

Will I need to change mounts from the booster mount on my trident 9?

using 9mm can for subsonic 300 blk is pretty common.
you will need a different mount probably as most 300's are threaded 5/8x24
and most 9's are 1/2x28. no booster needed since its a fixed barrel.

Dub chops, thank you for posting this! Big ****ing high five to you sir! I have a new project in mind now.

I'm gunna make a suppressed deer rifle for next season. (thanks to new law).

Dustin, I need an adapter to go from the 5/8 pitch the the 1/2x28 so I can use my can. A quick detach would be cool.

I had a mount made for my 9" upper that I could either put my AAC Cyclone on the regular threads or a three lug adapter for an AAC Stryker II. I fired two rounds of 220 grain subsonic rounds through the 9mm Stryker II and decided that I wasn't ever going to put that can back on there because the suppression wasn't very good at all.
