A friend's child is missing in Tulsa.

How old is he?
I've been through this a couple times.
If he is older than 16 they will try to talk you out of filing
A runaway report because they think at that age they have
Friends that they will be staying with and they will be safe.
And they think they will show up back at the house in a day or 2.
If they are 14 or younger then they might talk to you and
Show a little concern.
I hope he shows back up.

I just got word that an hour or so ago he was found. I'm not sure of the details and as interesting as it would be to know about it, it's really none of my business and doesn't matter. He was found safe and unharmed.

Yes, maybe an hour or so ago. I just woke up and saw her update on her Facebook page.

The police were actually very reactive. As I took flyers around to the QT stores a couple of them told me that police had been by earlier in the evening.

Good luck ! A search hours later for someone who has went missing is all luck!

They had been looking for several hours before I even heard about it. The mom then started posting on Facebook which I saw about 1AM. Her pleas were heartbreaking so there was no way I could do nothing. I came up with the idea for the flyers and if nothing else arranging for the printing and knowing someone was out there looking helped get the mom through the night.

Really thankful for this good end result. Not all missing children cases end this way.
