My thanks to everyone.
I talked to him a little while ago, and he seems to be doing well as can be expected. He said the worst part has been the coughing, and that he's tired.
All in all, things seem to be going pretty good so far.

Just talked with my friend a bit ago. He don't really seem much better (or worse), but his head is clogged up now (which could be the weather). He says he is still sleeping pretty good, and I figure that's about half the battle. He also didn't seem to be coughing today.
He actually complained more about his arthritis. Apparently the Doc took him off pain meds while he has this Covid stuff (he can still take Tylenol), and it hurts for him to move around much (which they want him to do now).

Hopefully your friend will get over it. My dad is 80 and is recovering from the covid. My mother is 78 and is also recovering. Dad is still weak but the fever is gone and he is eating. Mom is either hot or cold but no fever.
