some 0000 steel wool with some gun oil and lots of rubbing, and most of the rust will come off.

I use a small steel brush that I have bent the bristles over so it doesn't scratch up the metal and some CLP and a bunch of elbow grease. I now have all 4 guns in working order I have shot all of them and they all work good except the .22 it keeps jamming.
