If the country has declined to the point that the majority of voters reelect Obama, then it is headed toward an unpleasant reset button. I sincerely hope for real change in 2012 because otherwise we are in for serious economic and social instability.
Of course, if we elect Romney, the whole situation will turn around in a matter of weeks.

Romney wouldn't be my first choice but at least he has experience running something and knows how to attract businesses. And he wouldn't surround himself with inept academic ideologues while shutting out feedback from the real world.
So, you're down with it already. Romney could win. He's the not-Obama, even though he isn't. AND you'll find him on your ballot.
