Regardless of where you go, if it's fancy it's not good. Not fancy means good eats.
If I'm not taking the time to smoke my own, I go to Swadleys.
The Swadleys combined with Jim's Fried Chicken? I've was raised on the original Jim's before Swadleys bought em out.Yeah, chains usually get a bad wrap from BBQ snobs...but I hit Swadley's now and then. Not bad at all.
I've wanted to try this place but was told by someone that it had closed. Any intel on that? You've got the World Champion BBQ winner in Wellston, The Butcher BBQ stand, but not really a dine-in restaurant.

We ate lunch at Earls on NW 68 and Western in OKC today and I gotta say the sliced brisket was damn good.
This^^^Bedlam BBQ....610 N.E. 50th.....great smoke smell as you enter the parking lot. Food is very good.
That's the way I feel too but its still pretty good. The 'new' Jim's Chicken certainly ain't the same as the 'original' Jim's Chicken....at least to me.
