I would tend to disagree. Brand can be important, depending on what part it is. Lower? Not so much, but other components different brands are like night and day.

I built mine. Liked it so much I built another identical for my wife.

What brake/comp is that installed on the top 2, and could you tell a noticeable difference in muzzle rise or felt recoil?

AAC 51t muzzle brake. It is loud but controls the muzzle very well.

Not bad... I may look into this.... put a pencil barrel on it and an Fortis Rev rail, cerakote it all and you'd have one seriously lightweight complete rifle. I like it! A bit higher than regular stuff, but not exhorbitantly so. Hell, looks like a completely titanium rifle could be had for less than the price of a DD?

Thats pretty damn cool. Thats why these threads are fun. There is always at least one thing you guys come up with that I have never seen before. Im pretty surprised really, I would have thought the prices would be higher. Its not nearly as bad as I was expecting.
