Did a backwoods Colorado camping trip in my 'youth'. All we had was Black Label Beer and ramen noodles. Had to toss those sleeping bags because nothing would eliminate the stench. I can still smell it in my memories.

Ha, yep typical OSA thread, but this one lasted a little longer than most before clearing the room.. haha. I use the Carol Shelby's mix as a starting point for my home made stuff then doctor it up. For canned after Wolf Brand completely changed and destroyed their product several years ago, I have found the Southgate brand at Dollar General to be better for my taste buds than most. I do usually need to add a little heat to it with sliced peppers, onions, and cheese, but it makes a decent quick open the can and pour on or eat out of a bowl for me. Thanks to everyone or posting. I will look for the brands mentioned also to try.
