They spend $500 to recondition or repair cars the sell. The lowest in the industry.
They make over $6,000 per car the sell, the highest in the industry.

I like the idea of Carvana. No going back and forth with a shady salesman if pretty enticing. In practice though, I've heard they aren't so great as a company.

No employee overhead. Get a token, watch your car arrive and drive away. I don't like the concept because you cannot test drive the cars.
