Can't find a good resource for this on the interwebs. Picked up a new M45A1 a little while back, and started putting rounds through it (loving it, by the way), and then it occurred to me that it will eventually need new springs, as 1911s do. This one has that dual-spring design, and I'm not sure which springs are the right springs for it. USMC quotes spring swaps at 5,000 rounds, so I've got a while to go before I hit that point, but I'd like to know what I need in advance. Alternatively, would a solid 16-18.5 lb single spring also be acceptable if I can't source the dual springs?
