Well, it looks like we are moving forward. Now on to fundraising. Any of y’all ever done a Turkey shoot? I was thinking about our local men’s group hosting one as a fundraiser but I have only ever read about them
My father invested exclusively in Church Bonds after retiring from Tinker. I’m not positive what it takes to receive money from a church bond but they have been around for a long time, you might take a look into that avenue to help your congregation out.
My father and all of his siblings invested quite a bit of their money back into churches and so far only 1 church that he passed on to his heirs has ever defaulted on their bond.
Once again, I have zero knowledge about how they work, but they have almost all paid their bonds back.
