I spotted some guys several years ago acting suspicious around our place on the road, then spotted a dead buck in the wheat field when no hunting season was going on. Called the GW that lives a mile away and he busted them. They had reports from the past of deer killed with the heads removed up and down our country road. They took the pics, got the GPS locations and tied them into where the deer were killed.
Perp is still in state prison for this and other offenses related to meth. Talked to the arresting GW a couple of weeks ago. He keeps me up on the guys situation.
