Big difference between denied and delayed. I've never been denied or delayed but my understanding is if you're delayed and dont get a response in a certain number of days, you're able to go get your firearm. Some stores are pricks and wont sell to you after it times out but most should as it follows the letter of the law.

Again, denied and delayed aren't the same thing. You're delayed.

Denied is NO.

Delayed is "not yet, let us look more". You've been delayed. The delay may turn into a denial but until then its still a delay.
