While in Golden, if you're into old trains, visit the Colorado Railroad museum...cool new roundhouse there.

If you do go to Golden and like Southwest cuisine, consider eating at the Table Mountain Inn. One of my all-time fav eateries.

If you like outdoor stuff, you might check out hiking and climbing the flatirons.

A bunch of the very interesting destinations mentioned above will use up an entire day. As much as I miss and like Co. Springs, I'd suggest picking 1 or 2 closer events per day at the most. I'd definitely prefer Boulder over Denver hit a nice trail run per day.

This. Forget Coors, unless you stop by the Sandlot at Coors Field.

Start in Boulder are Boulder Beer, Midnight Sun, Walnut Street... drive up through Longmont (left hand) to Fort Collins (New Belgium). Then down to Denver for Great Divide and Avery. You can make a nice day of it. I know because I've done it.


Also, Illegal Pete's is a great burrito chain. Chipotle/Qdoba/Moe's style, but superior IMHO. And Casa Bonita

Colorado springs has pikes peak. go up it you wont be disappointed.
