Most leather crafters I know have their stamp somewhere on their items. Did you check the backside of the belt? (Or just the backside of the dog WITH the belt?)

Just take what's left of your belt into packingtown. There is a saddle shop just south of Langstons on the same side of the street that'll fix you up.

go to Atwoods and get a girth strap I've been using them for years I get about 5 years wear out of them

I know you didnt ask, but H&H has Looper leather belts with kydex made in it.
They work really well and ...well..Maybe the kydex will keep the wild animals away...
